Es ist der Titelsongs des neuen Albums des Wahlberliners mit englischen und irischen Wurzeln, das für den 26.01.2018 angekündigt ist. „I Can’t Stand The Sound“ entstand unter den Eindrücken der letzten US-Wahl und folgende Worte findet der O’Reilly selbst zu seiner ersten Albumauskopplung: „I Can’t Stand the Sound was written with Tyler Kyte whilst we were driving across America the day after the US election last year.  It was a response to the saturation of media pundits and 24 hour news culture that had become even more all pervasive in the post Brexit/Trump era.
